CONCERN – Help Foster Kids Feel Included
Every child deserves the chance to feel like they belong—to ride the bus to camp, raise their hand in tutoring, or laugh with friends on a field trip.
But for kids in foster care, these moments of joy and growth are often out of reach due to financial constraints.
The Special Needs Fund at CONCERN, helps cover the costs of tutoring, extracurriculars, camps, and more for children in foster care—giving them the same opportunities as their peers.

Why Christine Moyer Chose to sponsor Jay Moyer , Beth Walshaw & CONCERN
We welcomed Jay into our home just five days after he was born. His three older siblings were already in foster care through CONCERN, and with their support, we were able to keep Jay safe, loved, and eventually adopt him.
Over the past 20 years, CONCERN has helped all four siblings not just survive, but thrive. Today, three are employed, one is serving in the Air Force—and Jay is now 20 and proud to be an Energy Advisor with Think+.
Jay also has four younger siblings currently in foster care with CONCERN. We’re giving back through Think Local because we’ve seen firsthand how life-changing this support can be—for children, for families, and for the future.
